GET TO KNOW THE 2023 CADILLAC XT4

The 2023 Cadillac XT4 is a small luxury crossover vehicle. The newest version of the Cadillac has a roomy interior and a flashy exterior. It has a significant number of standard features that make it highly competitive. There are two new colors available for 2023. They are Radiant Red Tintcoat and Argent Silver Metallic. There are three trim levels available. They are Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport. The Luxury trim starts at around $37,490. You can expect the Sport trim to start around $41,990.

The Premium Luxury and Sport trims are close in price, which makes the Sport trim a better option. For just a little more money, you can have much more. The Sport trim comes with a blacked-out exterior, unique wheels, and trim accents exclusive to this trim level. It also includes adaptive suspension and more secure front seats. There’s also a Comfort and Convenience package available, which upgrades the trim to ventilated and massaging front seats and leather interior.

CADILLAC XT4 PERFORMANCE

2023 Cadillac XT4The XT4 comes with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 235 horsepower. You get that engine with a nine-speed automatic transmission. You can select from front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. You can expect it to take almost eight seconds to get to 60 miles per hour. You will find the XT4 is a great cruiser. It provides a nice ride on a smooth road. The front-wheel-drive version gets about 30 miles per gallon on the highway. You can expect the all-wheel-drive version to get 27 miles per gallon on the highway.

INTERIOR COMFORT

Interior of the 2023 Cadillac XT4The XT4 has a spacious and comfortable interior. The dashboard and part of the door panels have a stitched, faux-leather wrap. However, you’ll still find plastic on the center console and doors. There is a good amount of space in the front for all occupants. The back section is also spacious and comfortable for all passengers. The XT4 has the capacity to haul six carry-on suitcases. The seats in the back also fold flat.

Every one of the XT4 trims is equipped with an 8.0-inch infotainment system that comes with Cadillac’s CUE software. The interface is simple to use and has a touch screen making it more accessible. If you don’t want to use the screen, there are also knobs on the console that you can use. It interacts with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also has an onboard Wi-Fi hotspot. Also standard on the XT4 is a seven-speaker audio system. Navigation and a 13-speaker Bose audio system are optional upgrades. If you opt for the Premium Luxury and Sport trim levels, you can upgrade and get the Technology package. This package gives you a head-up display, a wireless charging pad, and a digital gauge cluster.

SAFETY FEATURES

The crossover SUV has an anti-locking braking system that automatically senses that the tires stopped moving due to extreme braking. It also manages the brake pressure, which allows the tire to rotate. As a result, you can feel safe that you can still turn even when braking. It also has stability control to automatically sense when the handling limits of the vehicle have been exceeded. This also reduces engine power and applies the brakes to prevent the driver from losing control.

There are several airbags in the XT4. There are front-impact airbags for the driver and passenger. These protect their heads during a frontal crash. Side impact airbags for the front protect the torso during a side impact. Overhead airbags protect the occupant’s heads if there is a side collision or rollover. Finally, knee airbags protect the lower extremities from serious injury during an accident.

Also standard on the XT4 is an automated emergency braking and forward-collision warning. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is also standard. An optional safety feature that’s available is adaptive cruise control.
